It's always tragic when someones dies before their time and in tragic circumstances. It's even worse when that person is one of those people that everybody truly loves, and Tim Royes was that and then some. You would really struggle to find anyone who had a bad word to say about him,and in a world like the one we live and work in that is a rare thing indeed. To me Tim was the personification of positive energy,he radiated warmth and had true kindness in thse big eyes. We lived together in the summer of 95 and had a crazy time,we burnt the candle at both ends and sometimes in the middle aswell. I remember many late nights where we would discuss life, love and the universe and much more important things like wicked tunes and awesome movies. I was lucky,I saw him just three weeks ago but it wouldn't matter if you didn't see Tim for five years, the next time you did it would be like you saw him yesterday. He never changed and I mean that in the best possible way. He was full of life, and full of love and he will be missed by everybody......xx

Tim, I have such happy memories particularly from school days. My Mum dropping me off 'to play'! before I could drive, your amazing rendition of the Weather Girls 'It's Raining Men' you did so brilliantly with Gwyn and babysitting together very badly. You also always danced with me when no one else would. How sad someone like you, so full of life, should be taken from us. My love, Helen xxx

Tim was one of those lovely rays of sunshine in life. I'd always come away feeling somehow lighter and alive for seeing him.I will miss him alot. We've lost a ray of light.

Even though I didnt know Tim that well, I feel I did. He had an ability to make you feel warm and welcome and that you meant something to him and he to you. He was a true and warm spirit and I feel honored to have known him.
xx

Tim, It is very hard writing to you in spirit like this but I am imagining you’ll somehow read it. Most of all I will miss exchanging silly Christmas Day Birthday text messages with you, and like many others I’ll miss your booming infectious laugh (which vibrated through the floorboards at RSA in mega-decibels…) Wherever you are now Tim smile and rest well knowing that the positive effect you have had on so many people will resonate with all of us for a long, long time. You were a real gem, and a top top man! I am sorry you had to go prematurely, we enjoyed your warm company here on earth, YOU made a real difference. Lots of Love, Nick XXXXXX

Tim,
I just thought we'd see each other again, and chat, and laugh and that was jut so expected and taken for granted. For that possibilty to be over is so tragic and makes me wish and wish I had taken more time over the last few years to catch up. I miss you. xxx

Dearest Tim
What can I say.... I wish I had made more of an effort to see you after sharing such special memories as a child. You have always been in my thoughts and heart and always will be. The one thing I can promise is to look after Mum as well as I can. You are so greatlly missed and will be with me forever. Love you dearly Mr Royes. xxx
