UCL Research Themes
Surprisingly, such a directory – a singular publication that informs of, and coherently presents, the breadth of research strands within the university – didn't exist before we created this piece.
The Research Themes book is intended as an internal directory for research staff and seeks to connect disciplines to facilitate even better outcomes. It also offers external funders, investors and entrepreneurs an opportunity to review the extraordinary research offering at UCL.
The directory achieves the often pedestrian requirement of listings type information within a contemporary design scheme while graphic dividers help pace the information. Choice of materials – a textured cover and coarse text stock add to the impression that this is a hard working document.
